Testimonials About “Who Am I?”
“Last night I caught one of your programs on television, and I could not stop thinking about how wonderful I think it is that you are introducing a very important but rare and what most would think a confusing subject. I am 27 of age and I was introduced to the way the mind works on last year, by a book called the Power of Now, and I have been practicing every day on watching the thinker, I also practiced being more in the present, which in result made me think about life and why I was created. Then I starting looking at the trees, the birds, water, the Earth different and how the world is a dysfunctional place, that is confusing the ego with who we really are and what we was created to be. I also found that since I started questioning the source, I started also on a spiritual journey, without my knowledge. I knew I was beginning to feel different, but I could not put my finger on it, until now. I am grateful that I have been able to understand the mind and use it the way it should be used and instead of using it to control my life. So thank you for introducing this concept to troubled beings, I feel that once we show people how it works, then we can reap the benefits of a New Earth, and then we would have a loving and awake world. Thank you again for spreading important knowledge.”

“I’m sure you don’t remember me, but I met you some time ago at one of India Hines’s events. I was doing some spoken word and you gave me a copy of your book, What Is This Thing Called I?, and I love it! It is so intriguing and thought provoking. I just wanted to thank you so much for giving me a copy of the book. It took me awhile to crack it open, but I’m so glad I did. It has given me so much to think about and put perspective on feelings and ideas that I already had but could not fully shape. It really brings me back to a poem I wrote called The unLearning. I wrote it because I felt the process of unlearning all of the false things, ideas and beliefs I had was even more important than learning anything new. I hope you are planning on writing another book soon… you really should!”

“Dr. Carter, I came upon your program by accident as I flipped the channel at my staters home in Jonesboro GA. You ‘rocked my world” as I listened to you speak the words that have been revelaed to me these last13 years. I never heard them from a “black man”. I was introduced to a Course in Miracles in 2007 by accident also. Nothing is by accident.”

Dear Dr. Carter:
“I just want to say thank you for saving my life. I found your book while being an in-patient in our state’s mental hospital last year. It opened a part of me that had been suicidal for many years.
I am now sending your book to others letting them know there truly are answers to questions we dare not ask that will enable people to face the darkest side of themselves and find light and peace. No more fear.”
