Workshop Title: Power! Can I Have It All?
“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”― Abraham Lincoln
Whether you define power as money and respect or influence and freedom, this workshop will explore all variations of Power and address some critical questions. What is absolutely true about Power? Is Power truly obtainable? Is Power available to everyone? Who decides who’ll get power? Once we have power, how do we exercise it, leverage it, get more of it? Is there ever too much power? And, how do we avoid becoming a victim of abusive power? This workshop will answer these questions and many more.

Workshop Title: Love and Happiness
More than the title of the Al Green chart-topping hit, most of us would agree that “Love and Happiness” is what we desire most from life. But do we know what this thing called love is? And to parody another hit record…”What’s love got to do with it?” Beyond being the inspiration for great music, most agree it’s a force to be reckoned with. Therefore, is God love? Is love the prerequisite to happiness? Is happiness sustainable or is it like a mountain peak…once reached, there’s only one place left to go…down? This workshop will explore the conditions necessary to achieve both love and happiness and whether it’s a state of mind, or a state of being.

Workshop Title: Peace
As humans are we able to comprehend and experience real peace? Or, as referenced in Philippians 4:7 – There’s a “peace of God, which surpasses all understanding.” Many believe that as long as humans inhabit this world, there will never be peace on Earth. Though a popular phrase that’s plastered across holiday greeting cards, Peace has become synonymous with a Utopian existence. This workshop will delve deep into the idea of peace and whether it’s an unachievable concept or an attainable state.
